SALT FOR THE SEA is a short film based on Salt for the sea, or White Whale, a novel by Anastasia Nikulina. The story is about a fourteen-year-old girl, Lisa, who has been bullied and has lost the meaning of life..

The primary idea of the film is to show today’s teenagers, using Salt for the Sea as an example, that they are not alone and that the problem of bullying is already being solved at the legislative level. It’s necessary to speak about your problems out loud. Aggression always has a cause, but you can only break the cycle with the help of others.
